At Modern Trendy Shoes, we want you to be completely satisfied with your footwear purchase. If you’re not happy with your boots, sneakers, or other shoes, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process within 15 days of receiving your order.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging
  • All tags and labels must be attached
  • The item must not show any signs of wear or damage
Note: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on slippers that have been removed from their original packaging or show any signs of wear. All slipper returns must be in pristine, unworn condition with original packaging intact.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Follow these simple steps to return or exchange your footwear:

  1. Contact us within 15 days of receiving your order by emailing [email protected] with your order number and reason for return
  2. We will email you a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and return instructions
  3. Package the item securely in its original packaging with all tags attached
  4. Include the completed return form (we’ll email this to you)
  5. Ship the package to our return address (provided with your RAN)

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for lost return packages.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days
  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable (except in cases of our error)
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider

Exchanges

For exchanges (size or color changes):

  • Follow the same return process above
  • Clearly indicate in your email that you’re requesting an exchange and specify the new size/color
  • We’ll ship your replacement item once we receive your return
  • If the exchange item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference
  • If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item (including hiking boots with manufacturing flaws):

  • Contact us immediately at [email protected]
  • Include photos of the damage or defect
  • We’ll arrange for a free return shipping label and expedite your replacement
